CARE AND MAINTENANCE
ALUMINIUM:
Aluminum is lightweight and resistant, but it will still benefit from care. Clean it with a
mixture of mild soap and water, then rinse and dry thoroughly to prevent water spots.
Avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the surface. Be cautious not to damage the
protective coating while cleaning.
BRASS:
To maintain brass, regularly wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust
and fingerprints. For more stubborn stains, a mixture of mild soap and water can be
used, followed by thorough drying to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners,
harsh chemicals, and be cautious not to damage the protective coating while cleaning.
CAST ALLOY:
Regularly dust the cast alloy surface with a soft, dry cloth or a duster to remove dust
and debris. If necessary, clean the lamp with a slightly damp, soft cloth to remove
smudges or fingerprints. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning products on cast alloy
lamps. Stick to mild, non-abrasive cleaners when necessary.
DARK BURNISHED BRASS:
Dust the dark burnished brass regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth to
remove dust and surface dirt. When more thorough cleaning is necessary, use a mild,
soapy water solution. Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water and dampen a
soft cloth or sponge. Wipe down the brass surfaces, focusing on any areas with stains
or smudges. Avoid abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the finish.
GLASS:
Glass is a delicate material, regularly dust or wipe the glass surface with a soft, lint free
cloth or microfiber cloth to remove dirt and smudges. For more thorough cleaning, you
can use a glass cleaner or a mixture of mild dish soap and water. Spray the cleaner
onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass to avoid overspray.
GREENCAST:
Greencast is a sustainable and environmentally friendly material, that requires minimal
maintenance. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and a mild, eco-friendly detergent as
needed. Avoid abrasive or harsh chemicals, which can damage the surface. Greencast
is naturally resistant to stains and moisture, making it relatively easy to care for.
MARBLE:
Marble is a porous material, wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining. Clean with
a mixture of mild soap and water or a specialised marble cleaner. Avoid acidic or
abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the surface.
PAINTED METAL:
Clean painted metal surfaces with a soft cloth or sponge to remove dust, dirt, and
surface grime. For more stubborn dirt or stains, use a mixture of mild dish soap and
warm water. Gently scrub the affected areas, and then rinse with clean water. Avoid
abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleaning chemicals, as they can damage the paint finish.

With silver ions anchored to the fiber material, Snowsound® Fiber hinders bacterial
growth on the surface of the fiber itself. The effect is permanent and is not affected
either by washing or usage. This also prevents the formation of any unpleasant odors.
Naturally, the antibacterial effect is limited to the area of the fabric. Snowsound® Fiber
is washable and can be ironed at a low temperature without losing the flame retardant
and bacteriostatic characteristics.
